The Investment: The total cost of the Franchise is £66,760 + VAT (VAT is reclaimable) and Snap-on has their own in-house finance group, Snap-on Finance, who can finance the vast majority of your business (subject to financial approval) for you. What better place to start than with a bank that’s only customers are Snap-on Franchisees or their end customers.

Coming in through the Snap-on Financed route you will need to raise £17,960 yourself which includes your working capital and all associated costs for setting up the business. We will then finance the rest.

Some of the benefits include a three month deferred first payment so you can get the business off the ground, plus a 5% cash settlement discount just for paying your tool bill every week!


Snap-on are looking for people with practical skills, who can build relationships, demonstrate an outstanding commitment to customer sertvice, have a natural interpersonal skill and the ability to get on well with busy people; advising them on their choice of product, and finalising the sale.


One of the most important steps in getting any franchise off to the right start is through training.  Our initial training takes place in America, at our dedicated training school in Dallas.  It is a week long, classroom based training programme, where we will teach you the foundations of running a Snap-on franchise.

You will learn Product knowledge, salesmanship, credit selling, customer service, collection skills, business administration and how to use our bespoke point of sales systems on the mobile stores.

 You will then come into our Head Quarters to tour the facility, meet the staff and collect your own mobile store.


Snap-on Franchisees are assigned to a Franchise Performance Team who have clearly defined roles in order to offer the best support system.

As a new Franchisee you will work with a Franchise Developer for the first 12 months you are in business. They will start by coming out with you in your store for 17 days in the first five weeks, starting with 5 days, the easing you off to 4-3-3-2 to make sure you are really comfortable running your business. They will then work with you for the duration of your first twelve months developing your business and ensuring you maximize all your opportunities.

After your first year a Sales Developer will then work with you for your duration as a Snap-on franchisee. Their role is to help you develop your sales, ensuring you can maximize your profit potential.

You will then meet with your Franchise Performance Team and the other Franchisees they look after on a monthly basis to see new promotions and products and exchange ideas.
