Pan Chai is a pan-Asian restaurant concept that stands in the heart of the Harrods Food Halls, under the direction of renowned restaurateur Eddie Lim.
Established in 2011, the Pan Chai concept is unique, combining the fine dining restaurant experience with an exquisite pan-Asian menu developed by celebrated chef Ian Pengelley. The variety in the menu reflects Ian’s background of extensive travel around Asia, including Thailand, Singapore, China, Malaysia and Vietnam. Ian regularly appears in the press and on TV, and has made a significant contribution to the popularisation of pan Asian food in the UK.
Pan Chai is the first pan-Asian restaurant to join The BFA (British Franchise Association) and is part of the world-famous Harrods Food Halls: offering colourful, tasty and exotic pan-Asian cuisine in a luxurious setting. The restaurant has impeccable standards of food and service, which have been confirmed by Harrods’ award of Best Performing Restaurant Concession in 2013.
