The franchisee will have a list of jobs that have been booked in to their schedule for them, mostly by the call centre at OvenGleamers head office. They will go out on the road to each of these houses and clean the appliances that have been booked in.
The average number of jobs in a day would be three, but some days will have four when they have built up their customer base. The job is quite physical and the franchisee will have to work hard to achieve the required results, though unique equipment is provided.
They will also have to carry out marketing activities in their local area for their business. The franchisee may wish to expand their business by taking on employees in addition to themselves or put themselves into a management position and manage employees in a number of vans.
The training is designed to get the new franchisee up to speed in the fastest time possible and consists of 7 days practical training – a combination on training in a specialist training suite at OvenGleamers head office – and being out on the road cleaning real customers’ dirty ovens. We ensure that a key part of this is specialist training is on the Aga cooker. In addition to this, there are 3 days business training, covering marketing, sales, and business operation.
